VCAB support for Cherokee Parcel 2B VCUP application

The attached letter formalizes the support of the Voluntary Cleanup Advisory Board (VCAB) for Cherokee's Parcel 2B VCUP application. (See this page for VCAB consultant John Jankousky's technical review of this parcel.)

Parcel 2B is the roughly the center portion of the area west of the railroad tracks and east of Santa Fe Blvd.

The Colorado Community Brownfields Forum: a resource for ongoing information and community involvement in brownfields redevelopment in Colorado. Vcab-denver.org also now redirects to this site. The logo image is a test well at the Denver Toluene brownfields site in La Alma-Lincoln Park. The lock symbolizes the obstacles to community access to cleanup information.
This site also hosted registration for the Colorado Community Brownfields Workshop, held in September 2007 and sponsored by Voluntary Cleanup Advisory Board, The Center for Public Environmental Oversight, Making Connections-Denver and Front Range Economic Strategy Center - The archives of that workshop will remain here.
